Embracing the aloha and ohana, Hawaiian spirits Wailua Outrigger Club welcomes you to paddle the Thompson Rivers for fun and exercise. Wailua; the meeting of waters, and outrigger canoes; the traditional water craft of Polynesian seafarers. Whether a new paddler or experienced you are invited to paddle in an atmosphere of recreation and enjoyment. The Wailua Outrigger canoe program is based on learn to paddle skills and an exercise experience for all ages and fitness levels. Mondays and Wednesdays at 5:30pm and Saturdays at 8:30am between early April and late September come paddle within a structured and safe paddling environment. Previous experience is not important, fun is mandatory. Dues are not payable until May 1, 2010 and are $150 adults, $100 students and $90 seniors for the year.
